We're presenting the fifteenth CHOP SHOP on April 23–25, 2027, and we're building it now.

CHOP SHOP: Bodies of Work is produced by Inlet Arts, a nonprofit bringing contemporary dance to communities across Seattle's Eastside. Since 2008, CHOP SHOP has presented more than 410 artists from 76 dance companies, hosted 70+ master classes, and welcomed over 1,000 people into free community dance programming.

Bringing the festival back takes real money before a single ticket is sold. Your gift goes directly to:

  • Artist fees — paying choreographers and dancers properly for their work

  • The Experience Dance Program — keeping community classes, lecture-demonstrations, and open rehearsals free for everyone

  • Scholarships — so cost never decides which young dancers can take a master class

  • Production — theater, lighting, sound, and the crew who make it happen

Contributions are tax-deductible through Fractured Atlas, Inlet Arts' fiscal sponsor.

CHOP SHOP:  Bodies of Work is powered by Inlet Arts, a project fiscally-sponsored by Fractured Atlas.
Inlet Arts also runs RISE, a summer dance intensive, and after-school creative movement programs in Eastside elementary schools. See all our work →
