Free. Every age, every ability. No experience necessary.

The Experience Dance Program is Inlet Arts' community offering, and it runs in the weeks preceding the CHOP SHOP festival weekend:

  • Reading Dance — an hour-long lecture-demonstration on the creative process behind contemporary dance

  • Introduction to Contemporary Dance — free movement classes open to all

  • Open Studio Sessions — behind-the-scenes access to professional rehearsals

There is no audition, no dress code, and no prerequisite. Since 2008, more than 1,000 people have taken part.
